Responsibilities
- Manage the performance of the operations team from an operational risk perspective in adherence to corporate policy.
- Manage the daily operation of the settlement of several products including Foreign Exchange, Derivative collateral, Options and Regulatory and Management reporting.
- Overseeing the Control Branch and its responsibilities and ensure that the team maintains service delivery to clients.
- Oversee, manage and develop all members of the team to ensure they work effectively together to deliver the strategic objectives of the department while acting as a role model (in terms of adherence to company values on Client Focus, Trust, Outperformance and Teamwork).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Traders, Client Services and other Operational areas and liaise with them on a regular basis to ensure queries are resolved to deliver client satisfaction.
- Act as subject matter expert for the team to ensure that projects are developed in line with business objectives and that implementation is successful.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years line management experience in a financial services environment preferred.
- A good understanding of Treasury products is highly desirable.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure and enjoys working in a multi-task environment.
- Strong with numerical skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin languages
