Responsibilities:
- Oversee efficiency of operations workflow.
- Ensure resources are sufficient to carry out daily processes, and to deploy staff to other team if necessary.
- Ensure the team performance is consistently meeting the bank’s SLA expectation.
- Conduct workshop, to coach and counsel staff for performance improvement and to reduce defects.
- Attend internal/external meeting for service level discussion review.
- Manage staff admin such as verification of claims, leaves, training etc.
- Conduct half yearly Performance Management Review for the team
- Handle any other assignments delegated
Requirements:
- Diploma in Banking & Finance or equivalent preferably with minimum 3 years’ working experience in the branch operations of a bank
- Supervisory experience in banking operations, preferably with experience in cheque clearing
- Fresh graduates with interest in banking backroom operations would be considered
- Skills in managing and motivating a pool of staff
- Able to work independently
- Must be a team player who is able to motivate fellow team mates
- Able to withstand reasonable work pressures in an environment with a demand of accuracy and timeliness
- Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Project would be an advantage
