Responsibilities:
- Backup of data to offline media
- Ensure all required systems/services are started successfully
- Activate all the necessary batch jobs and ensure successful execution of these jobs
- Perform basic systems diagnostics e.g. Ping the servers and test their availability
- Coordinate closely with users to execute their requested jobs, ensure successful completion
- Perform some servers basic health checks
- Perform systems housekeeping
Requirements:
- Preferably Diploma holder in computer study with minimum 1 year of experience in related field
- Basic knowledge of PC maintenance
- Knowledge of AIX will be an added advantage
- Willing to work long hours and shift work
- Willing to perform weekend duty
- A team player
- Able to commit to working for 12 months
